Our Chardonnay grapes are grown at higher altitudes and are carefully selected from the rolling hills of the back country of the province of Valencia. Approximately 70% of the assemblage is fermented in stainless steel vats whilst the remaining 30% is aged in 2-3-year-old French oak barrels. The work on the lees is performed with military precision, which allows a sufficient creaminess to unveil itself and, at the same time, allows us to extract the expressive minerality and the complexity of the Terrerazo’s terroir.
CAMINOS DEL BONHOMME
Denominación de Origen Valencia. From the Terrerazo region, close to Utiel Requena
In a country where Chardonnay is rare and virtually unknown, Les Vins Bonhomme has joined with Antonio Sarrión of Bodegas Mustiguillo to produce a global wine with a unique Spanish accent. The grapes are grown and hand-harvested on terraced vineyards in a spectacular outcropping high on a slope ideal for soaking up the sun’s rays. The unique terroir combined with warm days and cool nights, plus meticulous winemaking care results in beautifully hand-crafted white.
